What’s Pin Header ?

Pin headers are generally widely used in PCB circuit boards in electronics, electrical appliances and instruments, and its role is to play the role of a bridge between blocked or isolated circuits in the circuit, and assume the task of current or signal transmission. It is usually used in conjunction with the female row to form a board-to-board connection; Or it can be used with electronic wiring harness terminals to form a board-to-wire connection; It can also be used independently for board-to-board connections.

According to the spacing, it can be divided into five pitch: 2.54mm, 2.00mm, 1.27mm, 1.00mm, and 0.8mm. There are single row pins, double row pins, three rows of pins, four rows of pins,etc.; and the pin type,straight pin is 180° represented by S, 90° represented by R, and SMT represented by M,90°SMT represented by Z.
